Bequests Available for People Living With HIV

The WA AIDS Council has two Bequests that people living with HIV/AIDS may be eligible to apply for. The Watson-Browne Bequest is available to gay men who are living with HIV/AIDS and who meet the criteria.  The Phyllis Hill Bequest is for heterosexual people who are living with HIV/AIDS and who meet the criteria. Please read the Policy and Procedures for the Bequest prior to making an application. + The Phyllis Hill Bequest

In September 2006 the Council received a Bequest from the estate of Phyllis Hill named the Phyllis Hill Bequest.  This document outlines the specific requirements and policies of the Bequest and the process for applying for Bequest funds.

 



+ The Watson Browne Bequest


In October 2003, the WA AIDS Council received the Watson/Browne Bequest of $180 000 for the following purposes;

A. The provision of services to gay men in WA who are living with HIV or AIDS.
B. The provision of financial and other assistance to gay men in WA of limited means who are living with HIV or AIDS
